Steber supports boating safety

Steber International have teamed with Transport for NSW to promote boating safety through the “Old for New Lifejacket Upgrade” Campaign.

Managing director, Alan Steber said the campaign has been so successful that to-date over 10,000 lifejackets have been upgraded in NSW.

“As a supplier of recreational and commercial vessels, as well as being the largest fibreglass boat repairer on the Mid North Coast, we are proud to support this campaign”, Mr Steber said.

“To encourage boating safety, the Maritime Management Centre within Transport for NSW have supplied us with a touch screen display and literature to help boaters select the right lifejacket for their boating needs”.

“The practical information assists decisions on functionality and fit for children to adults, as well as for commercial operators. Plenty of focus is also provided on the inspection and maintenance of your lifejacket.

“Once an appropriate style of lifejacket has been selected, we can arrange purchase and delivery at competitive prices.

“On-water boating inspectors can refer boaters to Steber’s display if lifejackets are deemed to be not up to standard.
