Potential Steber sales from Singapore Expo

Potential Steber sales from Singapore Expo

Boat sales are expected to flow following Steber International’s successful display at the 2016 Asia Pacific Maritime Expo and Conference in Singapore.

General Manager, Alan Steber said: ” There were a number of good prospects from the UAE, Malaysia, Indonesia and resort islands”.

“We made lots of supplier contacts and with the Australian dollar down, prospects look good for potential export sales”.

Steber’s were one of 10 Australian companies exhibiting on the “Australian Unlimited” stand at the expo, which covered a total area of over 21,000 square metres across six exhibition halls.

By joining forces under the one banner, Australia is having a real impact when up against big players such as Norway, South Korea, China, USA and the UK.

President of AMIEX (Australian International Marine Export Group), Richard Chapman took part in the official opening ceremony, backed by the enthusiastic Aussie contingent.

“The expo itself was a showcase to the world of the latest fishing, shipping, infrastructure and technology innovations”, Mr Steber said.

It was the third consecutive year Steber’s have attended the expo, with a selection of scale model commercial vessels the centrepiece of this year’s display.
