With a quarter of the year already behind us, the volume of projects underway at Steber International only continues to grow.

“If the Australian and world economies have slowed, there is no sign of that in our business”, says a confident General Manager, Alan Steber.

“Recently our Quality Management System was upgraded to ISO 9001: 2015 which is a standard requirement for defence-related projects.

“Hopefully this will assist in landing additional government defence contracts”, Mr Steber said.

This week we will be delivering a 41ft Steber to a Melbourne client following an extensive refit and survey upgrade to begin its new life as a charter boat

“We are in an envious position compared to many and only the lack of a pool of additional skilled staff is holding us back from event further growth”.

Other projects already underway, or in the planning stages, include:

# Hull strengthening and fitout is well underway on a 52ft dive boat to be exported to it’s Dubai client later this year or early 2026.

# Staff are preparing a Westcoaster mould prior to work starting on a 53ft crayfish boat for a South Australian fisherman.

# Work started last week on a new series of RHIBs for a Sydney company.

# Another project just getting underway is a new build 38 ft vessel, for a southern state fishing family.

# Sea Devil runabouts continue to flow down the assembly line

Added to all this we have been fitting in a number of runabout and caravan repairs on an almost weekly basis.

Essential Energy, Tree Serve and Hydraulics Hotline are having fiberglass repairs carried out to booms and buckets to ensure full insulation when operating near power lines.
